GEORGE TOWN: After parking his Perodua Myvi at Km4 of the Penang Bridge here, a man jumped to his death this morning.
The 58-year-old’s remains were discovered by fishermen, who later handed them to the marine police.
The Prai fire and rescue station was alerted to the incident about 11.46am.
Operation officer Noor Sakila Said said they rushed to the scene after being alerted to the incident by a member of the public.
“The victim had left his car on Km4 of the bridge.
“About 12.11pm, the operation commander reported that the victim was found by the fishermen and surrendered to the marine police for further action,” she said, adding that the operation ended about 12.26pm.
